The play opened to much success. I saw it last Wednesday and I'll be seeing it again this Thursday. I can't wait. Given that it's a work in progress and some of the actors were still on book last performance (they were given new scenes), I look forward to see how things have progressed.

In other news, my Ubu piece goes up this Wednesday. I was hoping for more time for run-throughs, but what can I do? I guess I can only work with the time I'm given. Ubu is fun; if only I hadn't lost that actor part way through, I wouldn't have had to reconceptualize everything. C'est la vie.

And...
Ahhh! It's almost the end of February! Where did it all go?

P.S. I'm getting a massage this Saturday. Mike and I are finally cashing in on our Christmas gifts to one another. MMMMMMMMMMMMM. Masssssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggee.

Weird weekend. My Dad had to go to the hospital after passing out onto the tile floor of the bathroom because of stomach flu. He's out now and feeling OK, but I didn't find out that he was there until Sunday at 1:00a.m. Sometimes it's tough to be far away...

I'm in the midst of purchasing a house! I'm really excited about it, but boy oh boy, it takes a lot of time. We had the insect inspection. I never realized how close the word insect is to inspect until now when I just typed it. Insect inspect. It's like a tongue twister for your fingers.
Hmmm..let's see. I went to rehearsal this week. Went to class. Taught class. Not much else going on. My life is incredibly busy, quite enjoyable, and yet probably not that exciting for other people to read about. Oh, I did watch part of the movie "Caligula" today as research for the Nero play I'm assistant directing. It's a porno. It tries to pass as a movie, but it's a porno. And I know you think, well, it probably has a lot of nudity and sex. But let me tell you. It has REAL sex shown REAL close. It's a porno.
